Visiting a new church may feel scary, but we’re here to help. You’re not only welcome at FCC - you belong here.

Come As You Are

Dress in your normal clothes. You’ll fit in just fine. You’ll see baseball hats and blue jeans next to dresses and heels. We're a family made up of real people. We have imperfect messy lives, but we are pursuing and experiencing a transforming relationship with Jesus - and with each other. Everybody is welcome here - whatever your story, your questions, doubts, or struggles. We’re all about doing life together in community, being intentional about our growth as people, serving one another, and serving our local community of Woodford County and beyond. We invite you to our Sunday Gatherings at 9am and 11:05am to experience our community of Jesus-followers authentically engaging the God we love!

Worship Styles

FCC is blessed with an incredible group of talented musicians and vocalists who serve our community each week by sharing their gifts. Our 9am Worship Gathering incorporates Traditional worship elements including our choir and a number of older, beloved hymns. The 11:05 Worship Gathering includes Contemporary worship elements led by our Praise Band.

No matter which gathering you choose to participate in, you’ll find Jesus at the center of everything as we sing and reflect on his amazing grace. Our Sunday Worship Gatherings are easy-going environments where you will find regular folks from all walks of life.

Email Marcus with any questions.

FCC Kids and Childcare

Children’s Worship is offered during the 11:05 worship gathering for ages 4 years through 5th grade. The children attend the gathering with their families, and at the beginning of the sermon the children are dismissed. Whether your kids go to Children’s Worship or choose to stay by your side, they are joyfully welcomed at FCC.

A nursery is provided through age 4 in the Life Center during worship and Sunday School.

Email the office with any questions.

Teaching

Our teaching time is focused on applying the grace of Jesus to your real life. You can expect our sermons to last roughly 25 minutes. Watch our past sermons here.

Communion

One of the core elements of our Sunday Worship Gatherings is the sharing of Communion. Each week we celebrate this common meal that Jesus gave his disciples, during which believers proclaim their belief in Jesus’ death and resurrection. During this time we eat bread, signifying Christ’s body broken for us, and drink the cup, signifying the New Covenant in Christ’s blood (1 Cor 11:23-32).

At FCC, communion is open to anyone who is a follower of Christ.

Discipleship Environments

Between the two Worship Gatherings we offer a variety of Discipleship Environments for all ages. Traditionally called “Sunday School”, these environments offer the opportunity to connect with others who are also on the journey towards God. These begin at 10:10am each Sunday.

Email Bob for more information.

What to expect

Where do I park?

Although there is not one central parking lot, there is plenty of parking around the building. There is parking along the street in front of the building (on Lexington St.) and on the side (on South Locust St.). We also have our own small lot behind and on the other side of the building.

Where do I go once I get to FCC?

There are signs throughout the building marking where areas such as the sanctuary, nursery, and restrooms are. There are also greeters that are looking forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have. Be sure to pick up a New Guest Packet for more great information about all that FCC has to offer!

Your youth participates with you.

Your 6th-12th grade student joins you for the Sunday worship gathering. They gather with their friends each Sunday between Worship Gatherings and mid-week on Wednesday nights.
